    Brian Wilson was supposed to perform Pet Sounds at the 2016 LEVITATION music festival to celebrate the album’s 50th anniversary. Sadly, the festival was canceled in 2016.

    However, in honor of this event, festival curators The Reverberation Appreciation Society commissioned Al Lover to curate and produce a tribute to Brian Wilson’s career keystone.

    The album was released exclusively as a 180g 2xLP with gatefold packaging, limited to an edition of 2000.

CHRISTIAN BLAND
Christian Bland is best known as the guitarist for The Black Angels and one of the founders of Levitation. His solo project, Christian Bland and The Revelators highlights his signature sound and contributions to one of modern psychedelic rock’s biggest bands, while providing an open canvas to explore different ideas and influences. Christian’s side of this split EP collects b-sides from his 2014 LP The Unseen Green Obscene.

CHRIS CATALENA
A staple of both the Psychedelic Rock and Americana scenes in Austin, TX, Chris Catalena’s music is timeless, with songwriting that transcends genre. The songs on Chris’ side of this split EP were conceived partly during Chris’ stay in the hills of Laurel Canyon and Hollywood, California and partly on an Amtrak train between California and Texas. These tracks were produced with the help of Brett Orrison and Jon Alderson, and also include guest appearances from Alex Maas (The Black Angels) as well as Stephanie Hunt (Actress/Writer).
